The Definition
What "IT Professional Services"
actually means.
IT Professional Services is project-based work — distinct from our monthly Managed IT Services subscription. You hire us to deliver a defined outcome with a clear start and finish, and a single accountable project manager owns it end-to-end.
That means a written Statement of Work, a real project plan, weekly status reporting, documented change control, and a closeout phase with knowledge transfer. No mystery hours, no surprise invoices, no projects that quietly run forever.
- Project-based — defined scope, defined finish line
- Single PM owns the outcome end-to-end
- Written SOW with clear deliverables and exclusions
- Weekly status reports and tight budget tracking
- Documented change control — no quiet scope creep
- Closeout includes documentation and knowledge transfer
What We Deliver
The kind of projects
we run every week.
A non-exhaustive list. If it has a defined deliverable and a finish line, we can scope it.
Office relocations & new-site buildouts
Network, cabling, Wi-Fi, AV, door access, printers, M365 day-one readiness — coordinated start to finish so your team plugs in and works on Monday.
Microsoft 365 migrations
From on-prem Exchange, Google Workspace, or another tenant. Mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams — moved cleanly with end-user training.
Network refreshes & redesigns
Switch, firewall, and Wi-Fi modernization with Fortinet-certified design. SD-WAN where it makes sense. Properly segmented, properly documented.
Server & virtualization upgrades
Hardware refresh, hypervisor upgrades, storage redesign — with capacity planning, migration paths, and minimal downtime.
Cloud migrations (Azure / AWS)
Lift-and-shift or re-architect. Cost guardrails set from day one so you do not get a surprise invoice three months in.
Cybersecurity hardening projects
EDR rollout, MFA enforcement, firewall lockdowns, phishing-resistant identity, vulnerability remediation — discrete projects with measurable closeout.
Backup & disaster recovery design
Backup architecture, retention policy, runbooks, and real tabletop exercises so the recovery actually works under pressure.
Compliance project work
HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, NIST CSF — gap analysis, remediation, evidence packages, auditor coordination from kickoff to clean opinion.
VoIP & cloud phone deployments
Number porting, deskphone provisioning, softphone rollout, call routing, fax replacement — with no business hours lost in the cutover.
M&A / IT integrations
Domain consolidation, identity merges, application portfolio rationalization, file share migration — the work nobody scopes properly until they need help.
Custom integrations & workflow automation
API integrations between line-of-business apps, document workflows, approval pipelines, Power Automate / Azure Logic Apps — built to your processes.
AI & automation pilots
Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure OpenAI, Claude for Enterprise — platform-agnostic deployment with the security and governance work done before rollout.
Who Hires Us
Three situations.
All of them welcome.
Situation 1
You don't have an IT team.
You need someone to own the whole project — vendors, schedules, equipment, end-user comms, the lot. We run it. You answer business questions, not technical ones.
Situation 2
Your IT team is tapped out.
They're handling tickets and keeping the lights on — they don't have bandwidth for a major project. We bring the bench depth and project leadership; they stay focused on operations.
Situation 3
Your project is in trouble.
The original vendor stalled, dropped scope, or quietly disappeared. We do project rescues regularly — re-baseline scope, identify what's actually built vs. what isn't, and ship what's left.
Why RRG
Plenty of MSPs run projects.
Here's what we do differently.
01
Local presence
South Florida-based since 2016. Engineers on-site for cabling cutovers, server installs, and office moves — not coordinating from a different time zone. We know the buildings, the ISPs, and the inspectors.
02
On time
When we commit to a finish line, we hit it. We scope honestly upfront, build realistic plans (not optimistic ones), track tightly, and surface risks early. No project that quietly slips into next quarter.
03
Expert engineers
Senior people on every project — not junior consultants reading the manual on your dollar. The engineer running your migration has done dozens of them. The architect designing your network has wired buildings, not just diagrams.
04
Decades of experience
Founded 1999. Twenty-five-plus years of IT project delivery across South Florida — aerospace, healthcare, financial services, distribution, real estate, legal, construction. The patterns repeat; we have seen them all.
Right Fit
IT Professional Services is for businesses that:
- Major IT initiative with a clear deliverable and end date
- Need a single accountable owner driving the project to completion
- Multi-vendor coordination is becoming a problem
- Internal team is stretched and needs experienced project leadership
- Compliance, audit, or insurance requirements demand documented delivery
- Existing project is stuck or off-track and needs a reset
The Bridge
Most clients keep us on.
The team that delivers your project is the team that keeps it running after. Same engineers, same runbooks, same institutional knowledge — no cold handoff to a different IT shop that has to relearn your environment from scratch.
That's why most of our project clients roll into a Managed IT Services agreement at closeout. The transition is a paperwork change, not a re-deployment.
See Managed IT ServicesHow We Price
Fixed price. One SOW.
No mystery hours.
Every project is fixed-price. After a free 30-minute discovery call, you receive a written Statement of Work with deliverables, milestones, exclusions, and the total price. What you sign is what you pay.
Cost certainty up front
You know the price before you commit. No hourly meter running. No "we will see how it goes."
Documented change control
If scope shifts, we issue a written change request. You approve before work proceeds. No quiet scope creep.
We carry the delivery risk
If we underestimate, that's our problem to solve — not your invoice to absorb. The SOW is a commitment.
The Lifecycle
From "let's talk" to
project closeout — five clear steps.
Discovery Call
30 minutes. We learn the goal, constraints, stakeholders, and timeline — no pitch.
Scoping & SOW
1–2 weeks. Detailed Statement of Work with deliverables, milestones, exclusions, and price.
Project Charter
1 week. Charter signed, kickoff scheduled, communication cadence locked in.
Execution
Weekly status reports, change-control discipline, and tight budget tracking through delivery.
Closeout & Handoff
Documentation, knowledge transfer, post-project review, optional transition to Managed IT.

01 What kinds of IT projects do you take on?
What kinds of IT projects do you take on?
System implementations, infrastructure upgrades, custom application projects, office relocations, M365 and cloud migrations, network refreshes, M&A integrations, compliance remediation, and disaster recovery design. If it has a defined deliverable and a finish line, we can scope it.
02 How do you price projects?
How do you price projects?
Every project is fixed-price. After a free 30-minute discovery call, you receive a written Statement of Work with deliverables, milestones, exclusions, and the total price. What you sign is what you pay — no hourly meter, no surprise invoices, no "we will see how it goes." If scope changes mid-project, we issue a written change request and you approve before any additional work proceeds.
03 What project methodologies do you use?
What project methodologies do you use?
Agile, waterfall, and hybrid approaches. Most IT infrastructure projects benefit from a phase-gated waterfall approach with clear milestones. Custom application work and iterative rollouts often run in agile sprints. We adapt to what your project actually needs, not what is fashionable.
04 Will you work with our existing IT team or vendors?
Will you work with our existing IT team or vendors?
Yes. Many of our project engagements involve coordinating with internal IT, software vendors, ISPs, and third-party consultants. Our project managers act as the central accountability point so handoffs do not fall through the cracks.
05 How do you handle scope changes?
How do you handle scope changes?
Change-control procedures are documented in the Statement of Work. Any change to scope, timeline, or budget goes through a written change request that you approve before work proceeds. No surprise invoices, no quiet scope creep.
06 What is a typical project timeline?
What is a typical project timeline?
Smaller scopes (network refresh, M365 migration for under 50 users) usually run 4–8 weeks. Mid-size projects (office relocation, ERP rollout, cloud migration) typically run 3–6 months. Major transformations and multi-site programs can run 6–18 months. We provide a phased plan with milestones during scoping.
07 Do you provide post-deployment support?
Do you provide post-deployment support?
Yes. Every project includes a closeout phase with documentation, knowledge transfer, and a post-project review. For ongoing operations after the project, you can transition into our Managed IT Services subscription or hand off to your existing IT team or MSP.
08 Can we move into Managed IT Services after the project?
Can we move into Managed IT Services after the project?
Absolutely. Many of our project clients transition into a Managed IT Services agreement so they keep the same team, runbooks, and institutional knowledge that delivered the project. The handoff is clean because the people who built it are the people running it.
09 Do you support businesses outside Miami?
Do you support businesses outside Miami?
Yes. We deliver projects on-site throughout South Florida — Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Collier (Naples), Lee (Fort Myers), and Monroe (the Florida Keys) counties. We also lead remote and hybrid project engagements across the U.S., including New York and Atlanta.
